Project Overview:
This rotation gave the students the opportunity to build their own pinhole cameras out of everyday objects such as tins, boxes & other recycled packaging, and then shoot pictures with them.
Outline of the ideas behind the project:
During this rotation the students developed their skills and learnt photographic techniques and processes. Using their photo-workbooks initially – and later on their own blog-site - they covered the basic photographic aspects of exposure, lighting & darkroom technique to create absolutely unique photographs with the cameras they designed & constructed. At the conclusion of the workshop the students will have a very interesting series of images, a creative workbook and also a personal blog-site that can be developed into an interactive resource as the course progresses.
